Registration Consulting

If you sell products in Canada, Dell Tech can assist you through the regulatory process avoiding wasted time and frustration. A low-cost confidential preliminary assessment will provide an estimate of time, cost and perhaps even the viability of successfully registering your product.

  • Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA)
  • Pesticides touch many aspects of daily life. The PMRA covers many products including herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, animal and insect repellents, preservatives, antimicrobials for industrial and recreational water and certain types of disinfectants and sanitizers
  • Drug Identification Number (DIN)
  • A Drug Identification Number is required for products making therapeutic claims including the microbial "kill" claims of hard surface disinfectants and hand sanitizers.
  • Natural Health Products (NHP)
  • A Natural Health Product Number (NPN) is required for self-care and self-selection products - defined as vitamins and minerals, herbal remedies, homeopathic medicines, traditional medicines such as Traditional Chinese Medicines, probiotics and other "natural remedy" products.
  • Cosmetics
  • Any substance sold for use in cleansing, improving or altering the complexion, skin, hair or teeth of humans and animals requires a Cosmetic Notification (CNF).
  • Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) & Bureau of Chemical Safety (BCS)
  • CFIA & BCS Letters of No Objection are issued for various incidental additive products for use in Federally Regulated and other Food Processing establishments.
  • New Substances Notification (NSNR) and Existing Substances (CMP)
  • The Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) includes the Chemical Management Plan (CMP) and New Substances Notification (NSN) Regulations which ensures all chemical and biological substances existing or proposed for use in Canada have been assessed and found acceptable for their continued import or manufacture.
