- Description: Health Canada’s Bureau of Gastroenterology, Infection and Viral Diseases has completed the revisions to content and changes to format and posted the Final Guidance Document: Human-Use Antiseptic Drugs. These guidelines are effective immediately.
- 2009 GMP Guidelines (July 2009)
- Description: On May 8, 2009 Health Canada published updated Good Manufacturing Practices Guidelines for DIN registered products. These revised guidelines include modified and/or new terminology, questions and answers, additional requirements and additional interpretations.
- Deadline for Converting DIN Registrations to Natural Health Product Registrations (April 2009)
- Description: Products which are currently registered under DIN but fit the definition of a Natural Health Product must be Registered as a Natural Health Product by January 1, 2010 or be withdrawn from the market.
- 2008 Annual Drug Notification (June 2008)
- Description: The Annual Drug Notification form is intended to assist you in complying with the Food and Drugs Regulations that require owners of Drug Identification Number (DIN) to confirm annually, before October, that all information previously supplied about the product is correct.
