Cosmetic Notification
The Food & Drugs Act also regulates cosmetic products in Canada defined as "any substance or mixture of substances manufactured and sold, for use in cleansing, improving or altering the complexion, skin, hair or teeth and includes deodorants, skin cleanser and perfumes". Specific labeling requirements and completion of a cosmetic notification process is required in order to market these products in Canada.
