Drug Identification Number (DIN) Registration
The Food & Drugs Act and Regulations cover products used in hospitals, health care and food processing. Included also are non-porous hard surface disinfectants and topical antiseptic products (hand soaps and lotions). A Drug Identification Number and registration are required for such products in order for them to be sold in Canada.
